FOV Fix?
Anyone know how to fix the FOV.
I've tried finding a setting in config files (Located at: C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\QuantumBreak) but no luck.
The actual config file is an unreadable format

No luck wit the regedit, either. No registries for Remedy or Quantum Break.

Cheat engine is also no use because you can't adjust the FOV at all

Anyone else have any luck? Thanks!

Cheat Engine is of use.

Search for Float Value (Rounded Default)

The default FOV is 68.33000183.

Search for it. Change all values to your liking. It will reset to 72 in combat tho. You could write a script that forces the FOV to stay at a certain value, if you know how to do it.

Using your post i made a CE table, try and tell me if it works for you.

Keybinds are explained in table, for example :
Use * on numpad to set Fov to 85, CTRL* to set 95, ALT* to set 105 and CTRL+ALT* to set default FOV.
Check the FOV box on the left to prevent the value from changing of course.

You can change each values to something that suits you by editing the hotkeys on the FOV variable line (right click it then CTRL+H to show the hotkeys menu).

As i can't copy the link to the table, here it is as text, just create a text file, copy the content and rename it to "FOV_FIX.CT"

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <CheatTable CheatEngineTableVersion="31"> <CheatEntries> <CheatEntry> <ID>0</ID> <Description>"FOV"</Description> <Color>0000FF</Color> <VariableType>Float</VariableType> <Address>QuantumBreak.exe+1177A68</Address> <Hotkeys> <Hotkey> <Action>Increase Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>107</Key> </Keys> <Value>1</Value> <ID>0</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Decrease Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>109</Key> </Keys> <Value>1</Value> <ID>1</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Set Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>106</Key> </Keys> <Value>85</Value> <ID>2</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Increase Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>17</Key> <Key>107</Key> </Keys> <Value>5</Value> <ID>3</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Decrease Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>17</Key> <Key>109</Key> </Keys> <Value>5</Value> <ID>4</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Set Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>17</Key> <Key>106</Key> </Keys> <Value>95</Value> <ID>5</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Increase Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>18</Key> <Key>107</Key> </Keys> <Value>10</Value> <ID>6</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Decrease Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>18</Key> <Key>109</Key> </Keys> <Value>10</Value> <ID>7</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Set Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>18</Key> <Key>106</Key> </Keys> <Value>105</Value> <ID>8</ID> </Hotkey> <Hotkey> <Action>Set Value</Action> <Keys> <Key>17</Key> <Key>18</Key> <Key>106</Key> </Keys> <Value>68.33000183</Value> <ID>9</ID> </Hotkey> </Hotkeys> </CheatEntry> <CheatEntry> <ID>1</ID> <Description>"Default FOV value is 68.33000183 (Float Rounded Default)"</Description> <LastState Value="" RealAddress="00000000"/> <Color>000080</Color> <GroupHeader>1</GroupHeader> </CheatEntry> <CheatEntry> <ID>2</ID> <Description>"FOV Address is : QuantumBreak.exe+1177A68"</Description> <LastState Value="" RealAddress="00000000"/> <Color>008000</Color> <GroupHeader>1</GroupHeader> </CheatEntry> <CheatEntry> <ID>3</ID> <Description>"Use [Num -] and [Num +] to increase/decrease value by 1 or 5 with [CTRL] or 10 with [ALT]"</Description> <LastState Value="" RealAddress="00000000"/> <Color>800000</Color> <GroupHeader>1</GroupHeader> </CheatEntry> <CheatEntry> <ID>4</ID> <Description>"Use [Num *] to set value to 85, [CTRL] to 95 or 105 with [ALT] or 68.33000183 with [CTRL]+[ALT]"</Description> <LastState Value="" RealAddress="00000000"/> <Color>800080</Color> <GroupHeader>1</GroupHeader> </CheatEntry> </CheatEntries> <UserdefinedSymbols/> </CheatTable>

Thanks for the help.
To fix the FOV resetting every-time you zoom in, replace the 106 value in the above "FOV_FIX.CT" to 2. That corresponds with the right mouse button, which will automatically reset the FOV to 85 every-time after the zoom, or Right Mouse Button, is no longer pressed. Change the 85 to whatever other FOV is desired. That should be more than enough to always have correct FOV when needed.

Not true if you use the solution I just provided. It sets the FOV to the correct FOV after zooming-in.
